Hello all, good to be here.

I'm new here and thought instead of lurking I'd intro myself.

I also have an immediate question which i'll get out of the way.

How do I find profit and Losses in practice mode on bap?

So a little about me ,

I'm an experienced mug punter. I understand the concept of trading and I'm keen to learn.

I currently make money from part time engineering on construction sites ( I could do this full time if I had to) and live poker which I've BEEN PLAYING FOR YEARS. pOKER PROVIDES ME WITH A SMALL INCOME BUT NON THE LESS ITS BEEN PRODUCING A SMALL PROFIT FOR ME FOR NEARLY 3 YEARS.

I'm particularly interested in automated trading but watching the videos of manual trading has grabbed my interest in this somewhat.

My expectations are, I think realistic, In poker I try to hit an ROI of 0.5% ish. I would be delighted to achieve this through sports trading.

I have a few ideas for the holy grail of automated trading, once again these are fairly simple for now and I hope to refine or discard these after testing.

I will also try manual trading in practice mode and see how I do.

I diarise it in a blog which may interest other noobs.

Cheers

Generally I've always traded live. Losing real money meant no excuses (oh if this was live I would not have made that trade).

I've only used practice mode to test whether certain conditions exist.

Welcome, have a good read of the blog and search through PeterLe's threads as he has posted a few on automation.
