horse racing automation query

hi.. when setting up an automation for the horse racing i cant get guardian to to use the favourite in the races. Instead it either uses a specific horse i want, row 1 or a row i want it to use but never the favourite, is there a way of doing this?

You can choose position 1 (sorted in order of favouritism) in the 'Applies to selection' area.
