I asked for some help with a Spreadsheet the other day. A few guys were kind enough to help me out - Special mention to Jonathan474.

I have finished the sheet and tried to upload it here for anyone who wanted it. Unfortunately there are a couple of Macros that let you navigate from one tab to the other so I cannot share it here. I'll modify it to remove the marcos later and try to upload it again. Bit short on time now :(
It's simple and straightforward. I'm hopeful that many of you keep records of your trades. If not - you should!

Recording keeping made a big difference to my trading; much easier to identify recurring mistakes.

There's a great spreadsheet on here produced by NigelK. It works by importing the P&L and then breaks it down by Course; distance and a whole manner of things.
It shows the P&L day by day and if you click on any day, it shows you the full days P&L, truly a great piece of work
I currently still use this as it shows which courses I am most successful on (particularly in play). I then use that info to determine which courses I trade in running and appropriate stakes etc..
I dont know if Nigel is still around, but your sheet could be incorporated into his in some way, i.e. just attached as a front end worksheet
Anyway, just a thought as some of your blog readers may be able to make good use of it. Obviosuly depends on whether Nigel would be happy for them to use it, but I can see why not

Nigel is an Excel master, Peter

He done some work for me a few years back, involving automatically tracking price changes on oddschecker

He was very knowledgable and extremely friendly too, haven't seen him around for a while though

Cheers chaps. I have some of Nigels excellent stuff.
What I wanted was just a really basic sheet. Obviously some basic for many. I have a very complex and comprehensive sheet I use myself. But I was putting for my blog and thought I'd share it.
