Setting Default Stake in global settings

I have tried this, expecting the values in the 'All' columns in one click mode to change or something but nothing appears to happen. I can set a preferred standard stake in the 'All' columns anyway but what is the point of that default stake box in Global Settings? I have loaded the saved setting and clicked on Use Global Settings but the stakes don't change..
To change all the stake values in these columns you need to overtype the value at the very top. Then click the 'All' checkbox.
To set the default stake you can change the value in the settings editor. Note this will take effect the next time you log in with the particular settings profile you have saved the settings to. It will not change the default stake in the current session. Nor will it load the default stake unless you specifically choose the correct settings profile.

Thanks for that, I understood the mechanics but didn't realise the changes would not appear unless I logged in again. Just checked now and my default stakes have changed.
