.... to each other over the course of history, but I never thought the day would come when some of our species would resort to producing turd like this

ATR are playing a shortened version of this patronising rubbish at the end of every ad break!

Maybe betangel should start handing out sick bags with every subscription

The Ladbrokes life :?: :!: ...... I wish someone would do a parody showing the 'real' ladbrokes life... queuing outside the dole office, blowing the weeks giro in 20 minutes on roulette, smashing up the FOBT that you swear is rigged, before stumbling outside, vomiting all over the pavement then going home and staring at the wall for the week hating yourself desperate for the chance to make it all back

I was thinking of starting a thread on this advert to gather opinions. It seems this is Ladbrokes push away from their old 'game on' image.

But... it's one of those classic lifestyle adverts that raises brand awareness but doesn't really say why you should use Ladbrokes or why they are different.

I think they're trying to reach a new audience, a younger client base

Pre-internet Ladbrokes were the high street kings with 2000 shops, but they were painfully slow to invest into the online revolution and I suspect they are looking to attract a younger audience - blokes in their 20's + 30's

I suspect these people have been hoovered up by Bet365 and Ladbrokes have been left floundering

I'm a member of Betfair's Inside Track forum, which although appearing to have died a death over the last 6 months, occasionally produces a survey for me to take. I got one this morning asking me to comment on the Ladbrokes TV advert. I'm not sure whether this was a cock-up by the sampling company, or whether Betfair were genuinely interested in the impact of this ad. Anyway it was an opportunity to vent my spleen! Also I agreed with Euler - why would it make you choose Ladbrokes over anyone else?

I don't they need to say those things if the lifestyle shown in the advert looks good enough.

Is has a very 'Green Street' feel to it. Which yes, will probably attract a younger crowd
