I can't see it working out long term at Spurs. A year ago people were mocking Southampton for bringing him in. One decent season and he leaves. He and Spurs are perfect for each other in terms of track record for loyalty - if he does well at Spurs he'll probably clear off as soon as he gets the chance at a bigger club or, more likely, they'll sack him after a few months when he doesn't meet their imaginary high standards.

Spurs seem to have this habit of choosing managers who have one decent season. You would have thought they would have gone for somebody more experienced this time around.

I live in Southampton and I have to say here on the south coast is mostly devastation that he has gone.
But he did so well for us I want to see him do well but will he be given the time...doubtfull

It's a shame he's leaving but I think a large part of the reason is that he probably won't have half the decent players he did last year and therefore they can only slip down the table.

Saints look good value for relegation next year

They are either financially fucked, or their new board has no ambition whatsoever

Price has come into 9.2 from higher prices. Would think it still has further to go.

100 - Dusan Tadic (134 Eredivisie games, 42 goals, 54 assists) has created 100+ chances in each of his 4 seasons in the Eredivisie. Saint.

I traded them at 11.5 and again at 10.5

I should have waited.......what the fuck is going on at Saints?

It seems like asset stripping is taking place

We at least pre-season went well, with those thrashing of the lower league teams.
