Betfair are not aware of any specific cause at this moment in time, but are looking into it and will let us know when they have more information.

It's so bloody annoying; their inconsistent availability...
Quick question to BetAngel...

I've just set up all my races in guardian for all my accounts and just about to set out of the house for the day...
Is it safe to leave all markets loaded in Guardian/Excel...Will things resume to normal once Betfair resumes normal status??

The markets will be OK as the ID's will be stored in Guardian. You will probably need to re-start Bet Angel though at some point to re-establish the connection. It's unlikely the connection will re-establish itself. If you are on a VPS you should be able to do that easily from anywhere.

Oh yeah..I spent the last 3 weeks paper trading an idea busting my backside for no money and the first day I try it for real this happens. My first up is the 12:10 at Sthl. If this doesn't get sorted soon I'm gonna have to red out with Betdaq.
