Greetings all, long time no speak,
I've been out of the BA loop for quite a while due to various work and health issues. It appears using automation is not as easy as riding a bike because I've forgotten so much!

Basically I have a few lists of trainers who do significantly better in certain races when their horse starts as Fav.
Example: Speedy Gonzalez is forecast around 2.8 and Winalot around 3.1 hours out from the race. The remainder are the also rans according to the prices, 8,12,15,50 etc.
Winalot is the one I want to back but only if he is fav right before the off, and that's only a possibility.

Since I last used BA the Fix The Order Of The Market Selections option has appeared which I haven't used yet and am not sure how to.

I think I should be able to do it with a Relative Odds condition but I'm not sure exactly how to phrase it, possibly fix the odds first, then back my horse on condition it's back price is less than the horse in row 2.
I think that will trigger the back bet only if it's fav, any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated, I've tried but the bet keeps on triggering even if not fav :(

I think you could do this by specifically selecting the runner in the rules file (Applies to selection by name) and firing this 1 minute (or whatever you choose) before the off. Use the relative odds condition set up to be less than the price of the selection in position 2 (sorted in order of favouritism) minus 1 tick to ensure it is not equal favourite.

Thanks 6th Sense, I'll give that a try. Lady Red Oak in the 3.30 Yar is one who fits the bill today. Dascombe is 19% S/R in non handicaps in general but 56% when his horse starts as fav. Currently 2nd in market but not far away from favouritism so I'll see how it goes. :)

Just home now and that seems to have worked perfectly, triggering when it's supposed to, many thanks 6th Sense :)
