Hello,

Am new to trading and was wondering if people who are more use to trading could assist me.

I have enclosed an image of betting on the Fifa world cup winners market, where I have 3 teams with potential profit.
Algeria 1000/1 for £2,
Costa Rica 1000/1 £9- however £20 lay at various prices,
Greece 980/1 £2

I can hedge for £95 however I have two questions??

In the last round of 16, I have interest in game 4 and one of the latter games. Is it better to wait to hedge?? As that I presume it would mean fewer teams with other teams going out.

Also I will have one team in quarter finals as its Greece v Costa Rica. I was thinking of heading out for green of £60 and letting the rest run between these teams
I was just wondering if I can work out the potential figures in future before and after hedging?? The maths lol

If you've read this far thanks and any help or advice would be most grateful

Kindest Regards,

Stephen

I also have a 2@1000 on Costa Rica. Let's hope that Mexico sends Netherlands home and odds will shorten. They play first. Also I expect CostaRica to beat Greece.

only just seen your reply,

Unlucky I thought Mexico where though then like,
I have traded some of the profit out on mine as I properly only have one team left in the quarter finals.

Mexico traded around 16. I was asking 14.5 in the end had to green out at 25.
Still have 1k on costarica and it's 1:1.
