Margin Maker on Horse Racing
I have just watched Peter's video on using the Dutching Market Maker strategy. Looks great. Two questions. Firstly, are there any forumers who use this strategy and, secondly, any guidance on which horse to select as the 'drifter?' I suppose a third question would be, what would be the ideal race in terms of the number of runners in the race?
If you have something at 5's it has a 4/5 chance of losing. So an 80% chance of winning on this strategy.
But in fact it's a lot higher than that because even winners drift in-running. So the perfect criteria is for something that tends to drift in running.
Offer up some thoughts and I'll respond.
