Practise vs Live

A couple of questions about automation. Maybe stupid, maybe not. I am working on an in-play automation for football, could someone tell me the answers to these please:

I have a simple rule to green up with the two conditions that the green all profit is less than -0.50 and the time since unsuspended is greater than 90 seconds but sometimes it does not fire. I am running in practise mode, could this be a reason it does not?

Will unmatched bets cancel if the game is suspended for a goal etc? They do not seem to in practise mode but sometimes it seems that they do. I might just not be paying enough attention.

Should I just stop mucking about and roll up my sleeves in live mode?
