Hi

Simple request if I may...I know it sounds strange but there is logic in this for me....

If a horse is currently being backed at 4, can I put an unmatched bet in at 2? I can't do this in betfair as they give you the best price only.

Thanks in advance chaps.

if the current back price is 4 and you place a back order at 2 either with bet angel or via the website, you will get matched at 4, as 4 is the best price available.

thats how the exchange works, you get matched at the best price available.

you could place a lay out of the money at 2.

if the lay price was 3.95 (just as the back side) if you lay at 5, you would get matched at the best price available i.e. 3.95 the current lay price.

why would you wish to take a bad price? i never understand why anyone would want too.

You can setup automation to place a back at 2 if it becomes available inplay but the chance of getting matched on a winner are low (lower than 50/50 :D )

It's easy in Excel to trigger at a certain price.
