Queue sleep deprivation.

There will be some overlap this year with the Melbourne cup carnival and the Breeders Cup. All manageable for us Aussies but looks like some serious sleep deprivation in store for our friends from the UK and Europe.

Great to see the Breeders cup will take place at Santa Anita. It has to be one of the most beautiful tracks in the world. Spectacular background.

Can't wait for it Gaz, that will be a long week! Personally, I'm really looking forward to the Melbourne Friday night racing to start, always seem to do quite well.

I'm looking forward as well, as I'm sure most traders around the world are. Melbourne Cup on the 4th and I've had a look at the cards, and you can definitely expect some clashes!

Thankfully for me, being automated, trading both at once is possible.

You aren't, clearly remember backing Zenyatta after those typical dodgy trades, sorry, starts, and laying when the horses were in the home straight.

I think it may have changed a year or two ago but might just be my mind playing tricks.

i seem to remember trading some of them last year but i could be wrong.

i cant see myself trading an american race without it being an inplay market, but i may have felt confident that the start times were accurate and i was using sp as my sole main/safe guard. just cant remember

since last year both machines died (both mother boards fried  )., and hence i have very few records of previous breeders cup trading.

thanks

Breeders cup has been ok for the last couple of years but liquidity has been on the decline since Betfair started shoving all their US customers to the sportsbook. Was £800k last year but peaked at £1.8m a few years ago, quite a decline.

I noticed they were not inplay and I'm sure they were last year. But it may be that was only on the Saturday? As I'm at the course I've not idea how they are trading anybody let me know?

Matched volume was quite decent a fair way out.

They didn't go in play.

I didn't have a great day.

We're really sorry, but we will not be offering the Breeders' Cup meeting in-play. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
