Hi,

how do you send private messages to other betangel forum members. Under their contact details it is blank and says I am not authorised to send private messages.

thanks

You hadn't posted on the forum until now, so you couldn't send messages either.

We deliberately stop people from posting or sending until we see some activity. It's to stop spam.

As mentioned above to stop abuse, you need to be approved manually before you can post on the forum or send messages.

When we don't have this feature on it gets abused.

Your account has been approved now.

I stopped making my PM's available to other users

I got fed up being bombarded with requests to reveal the details of my years of hard work

No thanks in return, some people just considered it my duty to help them, in fact I even received some rather unpleasant abuse on one occasion

So, in response to the opening poster here - I have no desire to receive a PM from somebody who has never even posted on the forum
