Hi,
I am trying to use excel to fire in bets during the day on specific named horses, but both betfair and betdaq sometimes change the order of runners resulting in the wrong horse being backed / layed. Is there any way to link an individual bet rule / command to a named horse? The formula i use at the moment is:
=IF(F4<1/24/3600*30,"LAY",""). At the moment i just put this into one of the Bet Rules/Individual Commands boxes and hope that the running order stays the same (not very clever).

Thanks and regards

The best way would be to create a list of the runners you are interested in on another sheet and then use the vlookup function. Combined with a few 'IF's, the sheet would only place the bets on the runners in the list.

Yes, i see what you mean. I usually only bet on one or two horses a race, so it would'nt take much time to export those to another sheet.
Will try later, thanks for your help

I tried 4 bets on a single race. Actually, it's a lot slower already.
