Has anyone purchased this system: www.betfair-trade.com?
If so, what do you think of it?
Thanks
Jeff
Betfair Trade System
I bought it and wish I hadn't. I've come to the conclusion the only system worth having is the one you create with your own edge.
This guy seems to think spending twenty minutes scalping the fav then taking the free bet rather than greening up is the way to go, based on his theory "Favourites Always Come Close", I think he's forgotten they need to win...
Like a lot of people, I've bought a few nag systems in the hope of bastardising them to produce the ideal one for me. Which I've now done - I don't trade nags.

It would be illogical to sell a winning system if you believed that your buyers were all logical people. But as trading is 80% psychological, for every one person who makes a success of your system, 4 will muck things up and merely add to the market liquidity, helping you releave them of even more of their money...

i disagree. i dont believe there is such a thing as a trading system. price will go up, price will go down, price will do nothing. thats all that happens.
you have to take what the market offers up. there is nothing else.
i believe these sellers of "systems" can not trade, they understand the above but are unable to apply it, so they concoct a "system". the gullable, the stupid, the desperate,
the lazy, and the greedy, are very susceptible to what they believe will be a short cut to instant large chunks of easy money.
hence i have no time for such scumbags.

Hi,
my names Chris, I used to work for a company known as Brimardon, (very briefly I may add). They charged a fortune for their trading 'system' & it wasnt worth a toss. One of the guys who ran it couldn't back a winner in an action reply. So your answer is NO, there is nothing out there system wise that will give you an advantage

Markets are not entirely random. If they were random, it would not be possible to trade profitably. It would be like betting on the toss of a coin, with someone taking 5% commission each time you bet.
A successful trader will utilise certain patterns of market behaviour that arise time and again. I'm sure if I study the market myself for long enough, I will find these patterns. But why reinvent the wheel, when I can learn from other people's experiences? If a system can say (for example) 'When this happens, it's a good sign that the market may be about to change direction', that knowledge can only benefit my trading.

i agree markets are not entirely random. but i dont believe there are any "systems" that work.
indicators can and do help to predict what will happen, so can what happened in the past, but they are methods used to judge market movement. i have yet to see a systematic way of using indicators. ie if (a) happens and (b) happend in the past, then if i do (c) i will profit.
backers and layers perception of the horses chances and their reaction to price movement (over reaction in particular), are not things that i belive can be exploited by a off the "shelf system".

I would never buy anything from a site which uses underlined, italic, bold, yellow/red and different fonts on ONE page with information.
I believe for a full 100% that you can make profit with horse racing, every month. And this involves trading and common sense. Don't waste on bullshit like this.
