Hi,
Was just trying some automation on horse racing, i had a little problem, i'l try and explain it the best i can hope you guys understand.
what happened was i backed a horse inplay and it matched the horse at 1000 odds at £2, i can see the point of the bet going in at 1000 for a split second just incase theres a mistake in the market, but is there anyway off turning it off?
Thanks for any replies.
Automation need help
You are unlikly ever to win at odds of 1000, but this has happend.
You can set the odds from 1.01 to 1000 in Bet Angel. If you want these odds to carry over to in play you will have to press Keep All at the bottom of the screen. Otherwise at in play your bets will be cancelled
At any point you can cancel the bet.

If the bet was fired while in play it is likely that someone on course was hoovering up money on a horse with no chance (for example a faller) and that they got their bet in a fraction before you. I'm assuming you were not asking for odds of 1000 in the first place.

Yes was betting inplay, because of the new api and the chance to bet with smaller money "less than £2 min bet " i was using 20p stakes, the problem was that 8 x 20p backing stakes where taken at the same time and as you said the horse was a faller hence the price went to 1000, but because betangel puts £2 bets in at odds of 1000 for a split second it cost me £16 instead of £1.60, just wondering if you can turn this feature off?
Thanks Linus, i'l just have to accept it, hopefully it won't happen very often and in any case if i come up with a good inplay betting system i'l be using atleast £2 bets.LinusP wrote:The 'feature' is the only way of placing bets sub £2, a bet first has to be placed at £2 and it then gets reduced to 20p.
Thanks again.
