this is by and far the #1 reason that many folk never make reasonable profit -agree wholeheartedly (on avg, i target about 20-25). I in fact run automation 100% for my trading and take a hybrid approach of selecting targetted events during morning setup and also run a little sentinal app that transfers funds from the UK wallet to the AUS one if either the profit target or loss is reached at any point. that way i'm pretty much assured a similar result each day (of course always hoping that it's a profit closure, rather than a defensive %age loss closureNaffman wrote:Just got to target specific races IMO, I'm only trading 12 races all day and I do far better than trying to do every race


[edit] as an aside, using the technique above means that you can be out of the markets one way or another after 10-12 races, all going well. this was in fact what happened today
