API playing up?
I have been trading and I have seen this as well at the same time mentioned previously at 17:58 and 17:28. So it would seem that it is linked to the time and happens 2 minutes before the hour and the half hour. I am not using the new version of Bet Angel so it is not just effecting the new version of Bet Angel. I was able to cancel my bets when the freeze up happened so it would seem to just be the market information that is displayed just stops refreshing.

At least we can rule that out then. I've only noticed this happening in the past few days.PDC wrote:I am not using the new version of Bet Angel so it is not just effecting the new version of Bet Angel.
I originally thought it was something on my end and have been playing around with the communications tab since yesterday. If its happening to everyone then I'm sure support will sort it out.
Can be a bit hairy when it it 'freezes' especially if you're trying to close a position

There is certainly no issues with the Latest version of BA V1.44 this has been available and used by hundreds of users for over 2 months now with no reports of any freezing by anyone that i have seen, if it was a API issue i would suspect there would also be many more users effected unless they have just not posted.RonObvious wrote:Is it the API? I have nt seen anything myself so far today but i have nt been looking specifically for it especially around those times and the API status is showing all is Operational.
It happened again at 18:28 for me. The API status remains normal when it happens so I do not think you would see anything if you looked at that. May I suggest you keep a close eye out on the ladder at 18:58 and I suspect you will see the issue. It lasts for about 5 seconds. Everything just stops refreshing on the ladder.

It happened there again at 18:58. Was interesting to see that when it 'froze' the 'Average Increase' amount was at zero but either side of the issue the average increase amount was behaving normally as it should so could it be some kind of reset of information?

Just got a screen grab of what I mentioned in the last post.
Average increase at zero must mean its not a normal freeze

Seems to be happening at 15 minute intervals...13, 28, 43 & 58 mins past the hour.
