I was on the lay side there and was amazed to see it shoot out. The horse was fine and loaded without a problem.

What does it mean for us simpletons? The horse didn't run but people were still backing it?

Yep, it was still in the market so you could back/lay it but all orders are void, can create very dangerous scenarios where by you use the 'non-runner' to balance your book.

Theoretically you can go into negative balance once it has been removed :shock:
