I work at an office overlooking the Hereford race course. It doubles as a golf course on non race days!

Lucky you, Hereford used to be a lovely place. Not sure if it still is, haven't been there for a while

Yes, still very rural and slow-paced versus Birmingham where I have to go for meetings occasionally.

As you can see, much of the golf course is actually inside the racetrack. 8-)

Kempton may be getting a reprieve.

All these foreign invaders need somewhere to live while sponging benefits, taking jobs and draining the NHS! This country is a joke...

The British Empire's legacy.
You can't fleece people for 200 years and then be suprise some of them want to do the same. To expect others to have better moral standards than us just wouldn't be cricket, it wouldn't be Queensbury's. You can't play like Roy Keene and expect everyone else to play like Bobby Robson.

We established the rules to this game, but you moan when they get an 89th minute equaliser. A British gentleman is supposed to say 'well done' and shake hands. That's not happening though because we're fielding a team of cry babies who want to change the rules now that the other team are getting a bit handy.

By all means fight back if you feel the need to, and I wish you luck in doing it; but can it be done with a bit less boo hooing? It's just not very 'British'.

Not sure what Roy Keane and Bobby Robson have to do with a housing estate at Kempton.... lol  I'd like to know their opinions though!

It's nothing to do with the British Empire anymore, it's soft politicians and the 'do-gooders' in power who all want to be politically correct, instead of looking after the good british folk who have been born and raised here and paid taxes all their lives and their children who can't even get a toe on the property ladder because fat cat landlords, Russian and Chinese 'investors' buy up 80% of new builds only to rent half of them out to sponging foreiners as council lets.....

Enough said I think.

Yeah.. those rotten 'do-gooders'. Going round doing good, who the hell do they think they are.

I saw a load of them at the Pride of Britain awards. Some of them were so 'good' they were helping people who came from a different village! There was even one bloke who'd given away almost 1% of his wages to help 'sick' foreign children....It's a joke.
