Betfair chart / Betfair graph of the day
Can someone explain to me why the downtrend line started on the uptrend?, was the trendline drawn in after or was this an actual screenshot?, if the latter surely the trend line should've only started to appear on the downtrend?, don't understand so have to ask

As far as I know a Bet Angel chart Trendline is a Linear Regression line and is therefore a straight line of a "best fit" from the current price to some price in the past. If you'd looked at the chart when the price was at its peak then the Trendline would have been on an upward slope.Korattt wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2017 8:43 amCan someone explain to me why the downtrend line started on the uptrend?, was the trendline drawn in after or was this an actual screenshot?, if the latter surely the trend line should've only started to appear on the downtrend?, don't understand so have to ask

For me it's these.
Top: WoM
Actual (grey), Moving Avg to smooth it (black), Red and Blue to show 20% and 80% limits
Middle: Price
Actual (light blue), Moving Avg (dark blue), Envelope to show volatility (thin black), Recent Trend (purple dotted)
Bottom: Volume (green.....your screen always looks better with a little bit of green:)
I'm still not sure why I get -ve volume amounts, but they're no big deal.
It's quite a nice random screen shot actually. See what happened to the price after the WoM breached 80% at about 15:40:46. The same again but smaller at about 15:50. It's not always right but you don't need always, just (Always/2)+1

It's probably just a glitch due to the line thinkness/or step size or the fact I'm on 2560x1400. It's not something I lose sleep about.Euler wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2017 4:22 pmI don't really understand that eitherShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2017 4:04 pmI'm still not sure why I get -ve volume amounts, but they're no big deal.
But I'm still wondering why the horizonal scrol bar is grey when it's set to 'mouse' but it works on ladder & market.
just kind of replicated your graph, looking forward into putting it into practice tomorrow, hopefully it's a reasonable day to get the best out of it, all I need to do is get my head trying to understand it, to which I think I do, thanks Shaun, massive helpShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2017 4:04 pmFor me it's these.

I imagine it would be problematic to load or dump the historical data every time the mouse hovers over a ladder or a selection. I often move the mouse very quickly from one ladder to another when I'm watching the screen, and it's unconscious most of the time.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2017 4:57 pm
