Summer is easier to trade as the flat turf is much more readable than the AW flat racing. Jumps tend to have small fields as well so that's not helpful. But the biggest opportunity in the summer is the sheer number of races. You tend to be scrambling around for opportunities in the winter and that can lead you up a blind alley. In the summer there are so many races you are bound to find a quality opportunity.

I never thought I would see a 5 runner novice hurdle with joint favs priced in the mid 2.0s to be so easy to read and move so smoothly. Considering its the festival next week.

I always like markets where they cross and the 2nd becomes the fav

What's going on with the times at LIngfield... I'm sure the 3 o'clock went off to time. Now we're back to 5mins delays.

Don't think the 3.00 went off on time, thought it went off at 3.05 :)

The jumps are exactly like that all year round

8 runners are enough anyway but if 6 runners is going to affect your trading compared to 12 then that's not good.
Not quite sure how you came to that conclusion... I imagine we all work to differently configured data sets...

But generally, myself... I find it hard to read whether movements in small runner fields, which are priced pretty accurately, is due to a jockey giving the wink that a horse is going to be ridden aggressively or vice-versa, because it looks fat, sweating or fit or whether the price movement is just a consequence that prices must move to create profit... whereas large fields that trend on certain runners I find tend to move in a pretty consistent manner...

Others may find their experience is different... but that is mine...

Do you still have the todays previous Lingfield races in Guardian? If so what was the total amount of Trades you placed? (Matched bets)
