I am getting absloutely slapped. Wont be trading Chetlenham early again.
Some ridiculous over reactions in the market on the later races due to other runners getting beat in the first! As soon as one stable runner gets beat everybody bails out!
That's the trouble with these festival meetings, though I guess it works well if you're on the right side of it.

Does Betfair have a mximum bet on the exchanges?
Don't think so, I suppose the maximum bet depends on how much money there is there available to back at the time.
Agree on betdaq, it's so much easier when using smaller stakes, that one tick gap in the prices can often work in your favour, it's a bit like trading on betfair, but being allowed to jump to the head of the queue. Been a couple of ticks difference in prices between the two exchanges a few times already today too.

I think I am going to seek to raise 50 million from investors this year.
Stick £25 million either side of the book on the short priced favourites at the festivals, just a matter of time before someone else does.

My first Cheltenham and so far it hasnt been the best. Hope to learn as the week progresses. Im doing better in southwell and sedgefield today.
