Race 1 - 2:00pm
THE PHOENIX ARTS CLUB FILLIES' HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5)
Following the race, the representative of David Simcock reported that LATE CHANGE, placed sixth, was unsuited by the Firm, Good to Firm ground, and that the filly would prefer an easier surface. The representative of Charles Hills reported that LIVVYS DREAM (IRE), which started favourite and finished fifth, was unsuited by the Firm, Good to Firm ground, and that the filly would prefer an easier surface.
Definitely not a non trier .. or maybe My Crowley was still suffering from his attack by fellow jockey Raul da silva at Goodwood yesterday .
100% a non trier imo. The horse had plenty of time to get competitive. Crowley pulled him back. Went wide. Gave the horse no chance.
Hit with his right hand waited (delayed) changed hands again another delaying tactic.
I would agree to the point that the horse may have not handled the surface or even good enough to win. We’re never know but I am 100% certain the jockey did not ride with intentions to win that.
When he was ridding it in the furlong you could eailsy mistake Crowley as an amateur jockey.
