As ever the last afternoon race finishes and minutes later it is all back to normal!
Now I am no detective but if I were looking for a prime suspect....Betfair would be it!

I had some problems mid afternoon, seemed to slow down and refresh randomly between 3-5 seconds despite my 750 ms refresh.
I rebooted my router and that seemed to solve it, maybe it was just timed well

Last 2 days now, i have had very slow connection, spiking up to over 3 seconds in both responsiveness meters. I had this problem nearly every day a few months ago, it seemed to clear up, now its back again.
In the evenings tho, its seems much better, almost normal. have tried rebooting my router, closing down all apps and processes that might affect my connection, doesnt make any difference.
Have tested my internet speed using speedtest.net and it seems normal, so its either my ISP ( BT) messing me around, or its down to betfair

I heard back from Neil who says everhing looks fine but they are continuing to monitor.
My Internet speed is down today and one thing my ISP put it potentially down to is the increase in people streaming cricket online using the Sky Player and the like - just a thought.

I don't think it's the cricket causing the slow speed, but it's certainly worth watching the cricket and forgetting about the trading when things are this slow. Worse day by far today for me in terms of sticky, erratic connection and the usual freezes. Will send Neil another note but if they can't see any problems where the hec are they?

Mine is fine now but my internet speed is back up as well so could have been just my internet speed?
Don't forget everything was okay as far as BF were concerned for the months on end we had problems last year, eventually they realised they had problems but christ did it take them a long time and a lot of lost days of trading on mine and others parts!

Glad to hear your connection's good - mine is terrible again today. Makes me think I'm in the moniroty, but neither BT nor Betfair take responsibility and I've done the usual changes with laptops, filters etc...very frustrating. Back to cricket...
