Personally I don’t mind not trading the horses for a week or more. Would much rather all those that have been affected make a full recovery.
Not sure my horse trading strategy will work on the greyhounds but nothing much to lose using the minimum stakes for a laugh and seeing how it implodes etc.
Get well soon my amazing animals.

Should be such a big lesson, for everyone - in any industry
Diversify! - cos this gap could break people
Don't dwell on the good times -> use those gains to protect against times, such as this one. New sports, new business hobbies etc
Not even Mystic Meg woulda seen this comin; & it could go on

Found a market for us to trade in the mean time:

Seems to be a bit of dissent forming in the ranks:
BHA defends shutdown after Nigel Twiston-Davies blasts 'overreaction'
https://www.racingpost.com/news/equine- ... ses/365656
It will be interesting to see how things develop as people will be okay with a short shut down but if things start to drag on calls for resuming will become stronger. The betting market on Betfair is strong odds on for no restart before Friday 15th.
Monday will be informative once the test results come back, hopefully there are very few positives and things get back to normal quickly.

Or with slightly less cynical glasses on, they don't miss an opportunity to make opportunities for us.Dallas wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 4:36 pmeightbo wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 4:34 pmFound a market for us to trade in the mean time:
