Come on Shaun you know they cannot publicly negotiate a trade deal with another country until they leave the EU but I'm sure they are talking behind closed doors (if not I would like Dr Fox to justify his salary) and a negotiation period is not how long you have been talking but how much time is left … negotiations stretch out to the period allocated to them because sides don't move position until the end.
