Luke seems to have a mind like a colander, his thoughts are flowing out through each and every hole, people replying are giving him his thoughts back with the intention of plugging the leaks, the issue is, Luke seems to pierce a brand new hole before plugging the last, sooner rather than later hes going to look down and just have an handle left in each hand, wondering where all his thoughts have gone. I understand it takes a lot of patience & I can see its wearing thin, I always want to help the dog that's chasing its tail... but I think his constant refusal to listen means we have watched him bite his own ass. I agree Kai, maybe I did admire until you put me straight HahaKai wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 8:15 pmDon't think he needs more advice, just needs time to let some of it sink in. If we're being perfectly honest these are the questions of someone who has discovered trading yesterday, and people don't have a problem with that, but treating the forum like your own personal helpdesk and demanding answers whilst calling it useless at the same time is completely out of order.jamesg46 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 7:38 pmI really do think Luke would do well now to listen to the advice that's been given, not from myself but from others including yourself. I saw a great post by Simon yesterday (the study done by Harvard) I've not yet digested it, so I'm sure Luke hasn't either, especially with 400 threads active.
Sorry, but there's nothing there to admire for me. Even if the threads turn into a complete circus I still think there's some value for others, a good example of a bad approach if you will, or something along those lines. People aren't going to encourage such behavior, what are they honestly supposed to say to him?
"Wowza, you're a natural born trader Luke! You haven't even started trading and you're already profitable, don't let silly little things like not knowing what lay bets are or not having a Betfair account hold you down! If you keep at it then maybe one day you'll accumulate enough profit to afford a pint."
It's beyond ridiculous. People should warn him about the dangers of trading and correct any and every flaw in his trading approach. It may seem like there are 100 flaws but that's only because he is ignoring everyone, including Peter, so things get repeated 10 times. He only started watching Rebelo after I posted his 170k screenshot.![]()

Derek,
The thread was started and after around 2 days there were no responses. I replied then people attacked me for saying I don't what I'm talking about. They didn't add anything useful, constructive or insightful.
Derek, please reply with something constructive. For example, what strategies would you avoid or what strategies do you think people should focus on?
I watched a Webinar this morning in which the host said you should only focus on strategies which you can scale which makes complete sense.

Just my opinion Luke, I feel people would do living their own experiences and learning from them... maybe it was sarcasm too, you enjoy the book mate.

Sorry Mickey, I apologise for my behaviour. I hope we all get back to the original subject.
Mickey, I can only apologise for the diversion. This is how threads get hijacked...

Does anyone try to spot resurgent teams. If you look at the Championship both Stoke and Middlesboro are right down at the bottom. You would expect that these teams just go on winning streak and get into safety. Has anyone capitalised on resurgent teams?
(Just had another profitable trade tonight. Algeria were winning 2-0 at half time. Backed 3-1 which seemed excellent value and made 80% profit. I really don't know how I am doing this.)
