Lighten up Thomas - Complaints and insults after only three posts on this forum is not the best way to start if you are to get the best from it.
How does Betfair know when the off occurs in horse racing?
This is quality drivel, I enjoyed trying to make sense of it.johnsheppard wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 12:29 amThis is sidetracking, but I think 'drivel' has something to do with the inability of the original poster to meet the general forum goers at their level. And consequentially the desire's of general forum goers to implement attitude correction...
Consider you were a hard working worker at a retail store...a spoiled self absorbed spoiled teenager wanting the latest phone without having to work for it comes in...They demand answers, don't frame questions in helpful ways, they just want what they want without consideration of the retail workers time or prior efforts.... The natural response of the retail worker is to make it harder for the self absorbed teenager to get what they want in order to implement some form of attitude adjustment... the difference in this instance is the retail worker must balance the needs of his contractual obligations to his employer with personal desires...
Forum goers have no obligation to do anything for anyone (other than abide by the rules). So the attempt at attitude adjustment happens in a myriad of ways...not necessarily for the benefit of the original poster...and that's only fair...
Anyway, sorry crapping on about something probably unrelated...I wonder if I even make sense![]()
If I understood correctly, you are kindly suggesting that OP tries to adjust his attitude by gently removing the large stick from his ar**. Not sure I agree with that, but you know what they say, one man's drivel is another man's philosophy.
it's *interesting* to note how quickly a thread such as this can veer off the rails. my initial response (1st post after OP) was to ask for clarification on their considered take. I also kinda hinted at the fact that things may not end as expected, due to perceived tone of the OP. This tone actually followed thro' on the subsequent response.
i actually find it a tad offensive when someone posts on a public space and then demands that only folk with 99% of a clue (as perceived by the OP, but not expressed) respond to the question -all of this without as much as a hint at what they themeselves feel the sceanrio involves. it's not gving an edge away to express how you THINK betfair know when the off is.
anyway, it's xmas, so the OP is forgiven for his/her brash china shop barging...
seasons greetings all!!
