I really need to get something better than Betfair's stream... for one it's a pain in the backside just having to pay attention to getting the link to play, i feel sometimes the most clicking I do is on the damn play button.

What a dire week it has been, had looked forward to today with 4 afternoon meetings scheduled. Then we lose Leicester to the rain and Newcastle are doing their best to get their races off late to ensure they clash with Clonmel and then Catterick put back 5 mins. Not making the best of days.

Thankfully we have had a very mild winter this year as with the new scheduling of only 2 afternoon meetings most of the winter on Mondays and Tuesdays and some Wednesdays we could easily have had a lot of blank afternoons.

I have been looking through the fixture list for 2020 recently and have seen that the BHA have repeated this for 2020. I am really not a fan you may have guessed, but it keeps the bookies happy I guess having fodder for the evenings.

I used to like the blank evenings in the winter.

On a more positive note it is only 9 weeks to Cheltenham!

Very poor this week and it shows in the markets. But I'm usually busy preparing the ground for new areas at this time of the year. Plenty of opportunities to come!

I'm yet to do anything on them this week so far, yesterday I had them open for a few races but soon called it a day and moved onto other stuff

Another milestone passed today as the 'Today's Racing' thread becomes the first thread to reach 1 million views
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7400
anyway, the key part is that this thread had received 1m views up until then. roll fwd a year and it's 1.5m and building. must be a LOT of new *viewers* out there!! - that's a further 50% in the space of 12 months
