Great thread idea OP
I'm probably one of the younger members and don't really have an interesting story so I'll try and keep it short. I'm a college dropout that never failed an exam, that sums it up I think

It made sense to study economics and computer science at the time (early noughties) but I found out that I didn't have an ounce of passion for programming and such so I never prepared too many exams and eventually just gave up on all of it.
But I thoroughly enjoyed the student lifestyle and its various distractions, no father figure in my life meant lack of supervision and sense of direction so I got into (competitive) video gaming where I surprisingly made decent money to support myself, plus this inspired my younger brother to eventually become a fantastic video game developer based in a top UK game dev firm, so I guess that worked out well. In short, everyone in my family is crazy successful in their fields so as the official family black sheep I think I had a point to prove, but just didn't know where
Randomly found out about Betfair and betting exchanges thanks to a marketing video from Mr. Bery, then found out about the depths of the markets from Peter and others and I was beyond hooked after noticing many similarities to gaming. Always hated programming and numbers in general, have no real interest in data and I don't use excel and such tools, but genuinely fascinated with the psychological side of the market and how it actually works on a mechanical level. So most of my trading focus has always been on better understanding both the order flow side of the market and the psychology side that drives it.
Very much looking forward to reading about others' backgrounds
