I had heard a similar figure. Quite amazing and I am not sure what you as an individual get from knowing if you have it or not. The Director General of the World Health Organization has called the coronavirus outbreak a "pandemic".
Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has repeatedly stopped short of labeling the outbreak a global pandemic because he said it would "spark fear". But in a significant development he said the outbreak can now be "characterised as a pandemic" at an ongoing press conference in Geneva.
He said the decision came as the UN agency was alarmed at "levels of inaction" around the globe.
