They just want to slow down the spread, delay and reduce the peak. Things should start to return to normal after enough people have been infected and recovered.
yeah, it's gonna be tough. also, premiums and additional smallprint on new policies will make things a lot tougher moving fwd. not a business for the faint hearted, the good times (for insurance) ended in 2020 - in hindsight!!

I recall Peter asking an insurance CEO or executive how he reconciles his anti-gambling views with the insurance business, the response being that insurance is necessary, sports gambling isn't. Might seem more like a flutter on the horses now!
As I understood it the reason for this was that the laws are not currently in place to allow the government to force closure, hence the advice. He therefore can't do what he isn't able to.
