Yes and no. If you use chat support, ask the question, and then say you want them to raise it as a support issue rather than answering now, they reply by email. That email will have some sort of answer and say the issue is closed, but if you reply it re-opens the case number and dialog resumes. From then just keep using the same email address, as long as you're friendly and pleasant (like saying how good they are and blame management for everything) they're sweet as. Basically just self escalate, they're obviously always happy to do that rather than sort problems out themselves as it goes down as a call resolved. It helps knowing how support depts work, there's always a backdoor.

If you want to change the topic then go round the chat/raise an issue loop again otherwise they'll have an issue that's always open on their stats which is a bit unfair.
