Trading What I see !?
Well that was short lived! string of losses and now in -ve territory... Not totally surprised though, it's its first outing and i've thrown it at all 40+ races today to see what it likes, i'm suspecting it's more of a non-Hcap ruleset.
Having watched some of the Hcaps today, really not sure how you would trade them...? I would describe them as squiggling to no where...!

If you have identified a pattern, put it in your "edge bag" and find some more based on other factors. It wont be long before you are able to anticipate how a market is likely to move, based on the weight of your bag.

Think you probably need a mentor to focus your approach, goat68, as you seem to jump all over the place at the first sign of trouble. Maybe Peter or some kind soul could take you on as some kind of Eliza Dolittle for the new year to prove it can be done.goat68 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 2:53 pmWell that was short lived! string of losses and now in -ve territory... Yes, I can definitely see a correlation of the squiggling to no where races and certain other aspects...
How many orders is this? When automating you want to take advantage of the numbers game and be looking at a large sample, thousands if possible before drawing any conclusions on profitability.
Not many, ~100. Agree on numbers, but I am in early days of setting this ruleset up, and I have been watching some of the races as orders have gone through, and there are a couple of issues I can see from the price action that I don't want this strategy to trade.
"Marvel-2" is ready, altered what I wanted, but it was a bit tricky given the rules/conditions available, so I am suspecting a few hiccups which I will need to look out for and some minor tweaks likely. As someone else mentioned in another thread, I am also an "Agile Practitioner", so I iterate to my intended target.
