It appears they have an empty one in Gloucestershire & its now by all accounts a crime to record it and put it on social media. What's that all about?

Maybe you could break into a few closed hospital wards to find out for us, James? Get me a few of those NO2 bottles whilst you're freely wandering around too.
The way things are going certainly makes you question things.
Most social media platforms now have algorithms to auto detect and censor certain topics or label them as false news. No one really knows who or how this is decided.
Contrary to this the government and media are free to make statements such as "masks and lockdowns save lives", despite their being no evidence to back it up and many scientific papers which show that there is no correlation between social distancing and death rates
People st the NHS front line say it's never been this bad. Someone who spends his time at home on a computer searching for conspiracy theories says otherwise. Who should I believe?

Although it's not a pretty site, this really is the 1% of the 1% of the 1% whom are usually already above average life expectancy age.spreadbetting wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 6:48 pmMaybe you could break into a few closed hospital wards to find out for us, James? The mainstream media showing the very few (90 year old grandma struggling to breathe), instead of the 60 million+ unaffected in this way really shows a warped perspective of reality.
The emotional response is being triggered and overriding the logical part of peoples brains, I'm surprised that so many successful traders who rely on the same concept to trade profitably cannot see through it
Why would we have closed hospitals during a pandemic is what is confusing, especially considering the other article I shared on sky news that says paramedics are treating people in queuing ambulances outside of packed hospitals.spreadbetting wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 6:48 pmMaybe you could break into a few closed hospital wards to find out for us, James? I believe that is relying too much on unquantifiable sentimental influences and you should only base your opinion on the overall numbers vs previous years from your own research
The laws of physics prove that a physical barrier prevents or reduces the number of droplets passing through.alexmr2 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 6:54 pmThe way things are going certainly makes you question things.

Are you seriously suggesting you have just as much chance catching a virus of someone when you're standing a long way away, or at home on your own?

The virus is so much smaller than the holes in the mask, it's the equivalent of having a lion cage with the bars 0.5 miles apart
Yes under lab conditions it reduces droplets but there is probably more chance of contracting the virus from a surface e.g. shop door handle/card reader/self-checkout touch screen/petrol pump and then touching your face to remove the mask than there is of contracting it through the air
Where's the guy on here that posts Alan Watts lectures about how we can't influence the external environment (market) when you need him?
Don't know what news you're watching but BBC and Sky show people of all ages suffering with it. Trading is all about seeing what's there, not what you want or feel, which is what you're doingalexmr2 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 7:03 pmAlthough it's not a pretty site, this really is the 1% of the 1% of the 1% whom are usually already above average life expectancy age.spreadbetting wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 6:48 pmMaybe you could break into a few closed hospital wards to find out for us, James? They might not have staff, the power supply might be broken, it might need converting, they might have a new minor injuries unit, etc.jamesg46 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 7:03 pmWhy would we have closed hospitals during a pandemic is what is confusing, especially considering the other article I shared on sky news that says paramedics are treating people in queuing ambulances outside of packed hospitals.spreadbetting wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 6:48 pmMaybe you could break into a few closed hospital wards to find out for us, James? You can't simply dump covid patients in an empty ward and bugger off - they need staff who are fully stretched.

Right here but i also know I have no influence of my external surroundings, like this forum or its members. I've already said that I agree with your logic but I know for certain you'll never persuade a belief, unless you have the power of the msm to create an echoe chamber.alexmr2 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 7:17 pmThe virus is so much smaller than the holes in the mask, it's the equivalent of having a lion cage with the bars 0.5 miles apart

Might, might or might is the equivalent to anyone else's speculation. I just found it interesting that we have empty wards or a hospital.
You:ve got that the wrong way around. You're the one in the former category. And you shouldn't base your opinion only on past v present numbers - that's being very narrow minded. There are far more variables.alexmr2 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 7:05 pmI believe that is relying too much on unquantifiable sentimental influences and you should only base your opinion on the overall numbers vs previous years from your own research
