Plenty of people still live in their bubbles and that's what their perceptions and opinions are based on.
How sad
Yep how sad. Really is causing chaos through limited social interactions & shrinking perceptions.

Are you so stupid you don't know what a source is?
Google 388 Covid deaths it's everywhere
The survival rate for under 60s with no known health problems is irrelevant, unless you're a Nazi and happy to have a cull the elderly and people with health problems.
The pre edit was a much better version. The "it may be true in your world but not in reality" reply.

Derek does Google, finds the links and edits to, thats irrelevant.... something, something Nazi something.

i know it's my choice, but where is the unsubscribe button.... this thread is fundamentaly devisive. morality and opinion are clearly exposed here...

anyway - no position to make requests, just ask for a bit of *over the shoulder* appreciation (that said , that doesn't mean flicking your 70's clinic grown buffong transplant with gay abandon of course :D [do the shuffle])

for those reasons- i'm out!! - lol

You mean ICU?
The average age of people who have died with Covid is above 80 with more than nine in 10 of the deaths among the over 65s, according to Office for National Statistics analyses of the pandemic.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-54908177

UK life expectancy was 81.1 in 2020.

Ok. ICU, ITU, whatever.

Anyone care to comment on average COVID death age being near enough identical to life expectancy?

edit: I'm not suggesting for a moment that COVID-19 isn't a very nasty disease for many. I just wonder if the response is OTT given the data.

65 is hardly "near enough identical" to life expectancy. 65-year-olds who die from covid may well have lived until 90. 90-year-olds may have lived to 95-100. The bottom line is, in a typical winter the NHS aren't as desperately stretched as they are now.

You've misread it.
