Why a gaming laptop? aren't we just paying for a graphics card we don't need? I need to upgrade my self
A game of FIFA or Rocket League in-between markets can improve your trading performance 👍 Not even joking!

I wanted a large 17.3" screen with good battery life and performance. This seemed the best option for the money. It just happened to be a gaming laptop. I can always turn the GPU back on if I ever need it.

Really pleased with it so far. £899 direct from Lenovo or £850 from Box.

I so rarely go away for more than a few days (before the lockdown) my next move will be a desktop and multi-monitor.

Just to be able to pick it up and sit with it in another room, without unplugging it. Maybe having to get an extension cable out. I wasn't getting much more than an hour out of the old laptop battery. I get over 5 hours with this one if I don't hammer it.

My battery packed up years ago, don't have the need to take it into another room, trains now have powerpoints so I've got used to only using them at my desk. But now that you mention it, it would be handy to take a laptop into the garden on a sunny day. Batteries used to last 3-4 hours, now they're being advertised as 6-9 hours - technology has certainly improved.
