With Tesco you can pay £3.99 pm and have free home deliveries over certain days. Why subject yourself to exposure in such a way for a measly amount.
I tried home delivery when it was in it's early stages and decided never to buy fresh foods that way again. It seemed to me that they used it as an excuse to get rid of all the poor quality food that they knew would not sell on the shelf! I would be happy to use delivery for non-fresh food but if I then have to go there to shop for fresh food I might as well shop for it all
I only buy one tomato at a time and I spend two minutes choosing it!

I'm not exactly sure why, but maybe the "things at home" thingy brought it back to me... how are things with you & your lady friend? I think I may be a subject of silence or ignorance!

I told her in a text not to call round again without arranging it in advance and to actually turn up when arranged. Don't know if I'll see her again but I'm not wasting any more time on her!

No chance of any wedding plans, she wouldn't even turn up. ;)

You would get on well with my Mrs, she does her best to get me to stick to the time scales that I agree on... which is usually "in a minuet". Some people (including myself) just can not be organised at the best of times, even though others do the leg work in the organising.

I've told my Mrs that I plan to buy and live on a narrowboat, that way I can slow the pace of life down to 4mph, if I can slow the pace down, maybe the timescales won't matter as much.
