Well, I'm not. I don't fancy any of the teams, so...

Fair enought
But i don't see how the stats show Chelsea were the better side or deserved a win or a draw myself. they don't really tell the story imo as is often the case.
Utd were the better team in the first half and got the goal, after that they were happy to sit back just looking to counter if and when they could.
So given this, the stats were always going to be in Chelsea's favor.
But I suspect you would have seen more of the first half Utd if the game had still been goaless at HT.
just my opinion thats all

I think perceptions often get distorted a bit depending on who actually bags the win, regardless of how its done. Utd gave the impression they were bossing the game because they were ahead and could sit back and didn't need to score again, but if chelsea had scored when they hit the post or if they scored from the penalty they should have been given then most people would have said it was an even game or that chelsea deserved it (I can imagine the 'expert' pundits in the studio now saying that if chelsea had scored the penalty then a draw would have been the fair result after it was utds first half and chelseas second etc etc)
I think for the most part chelsea were slightly better (as shown by the stats) but they just didnt have the killer instinct or belief at either end of the pitch where it matters

Yes, and Man Utd did play poorly. But, they were also lucky.

Also, what you have to remember is that games are very rarely won in the first half. The second half is more consistant with the overall performance. With a small amount of luck Chelsea would have actually won the match.

and also beware in the lesser games Betfair are often half asleep and take several mins to unsuspend the game after a goal,
Last nights was actually very very fast as the goal came just 20 seconds after the restart and still some people managed to get out, so well done on that Betfair,
but there is no way had this been a lesser game or a busyi time anyone would have got out at all.
Last week for example 4 games i traded took over 1 min after the restart to unsupsend, one even took over 2 mins 30
.
Just shows how quick it can be done if there minds are on the job, sadly often they just are not
