If I wanted a Mentor

Or wanted to be a Mentor

If only it was that straightforward.

Rants, arguments, misunderstandings, Martingale threads; people trying to sell books, tips or services; taking threads off-topic, etc.

I'm a Lone Wolf and would be maybe the last person on here to seek a teamwork approach but I can see how it might benefit some.

I remember when I 1st joined this forum there was a thread and one of the LeTiss's had set a challenge - it was about a "lay all" strategy & they suggested looking at what happens if the lay all is likely to fail and building you automation to take account of that...

As a newbie I found it really helpful as:

1. It set a technical challenge (build an inplay lay all strategy) in a market I had never really considered (inplay)
2. Observe the market and modify auto conditions to only fire if likely to be successful
3. If lay all unlikely to be successful, is there another strategy that can be deployed within same automation re other runners & price volatility...

Anyhow to cut a long story short I never did find a profitable strategy but learnt a huge amount trying..

Maybe, there are a number of "challenges" that someone new to BA / trading could pick up that would be helpful to develop skills like above.. (in this case automation, markets, volatility)..

Anybody interested in mentoring me.....you might even find out I know more than you but I just cannot find any consistency.

I've been trading for about 5 years and smashed up a good few banks. Mostly when I am tired after getting up early like today. Im about to give it up as Im going to set up a Bus Company instead (that is going to massive should have done it years ago) but if anybody is interested in working together I will work with them.

I am prepared to tell you everything I know (you might be surprised) and give you any of my spreadsheets. If not, dont worry yourself.

Ask me anything on this thread and I will tell you....not holding anything back. I just dont learn by my mistakes.

Apologies in advance to anybody who reads this and thinks I've spilled thier strategies on the forum.
Yes give me a shout
