If you done some research you would find that container ships are mainly controlled on autopilot by Microsoft computers, who owns Microsoft? Bill Gates. It would be easy for him to hack into it and make it block the whole passageway.

He's done this to cut off the supply of electronics travelling from China to South Africa and it's quite clear why. If he can prevent electronic devices and battery packs from reaching South Africa then all the court siders at the South African race tracks won't be able to get onto Betfair thus giving him an extra edge over the market.

On the other hand, China, Australia, New Zealand etc took the most 'maximalist' approach. The result was life for the most part has been close to normal for the vast majority of the time.

- Few covid deaths
- Not stress or worries about covid
- Crowds at sporting events
- Hospitals etc all functioning normally
- Economies close to pre-covid levels
- Less damage to public finances
- Less unemployment

We have significantly more liberty than people in Florida and Sweden all without saying goodbye to gran and grandpa.

I posted a statement about 10 times in this thread and will again, total death figures are within normal parameters in every country in the world regardless of their approach. Covid figures are totally meaningless if you look at how the tests work, the criteria for a covid death and the fact that other viruses like the flu have disppeared.

I'm amazed people put so much effort into analysing and debating the best way to try and control nature when that solid fact established from over 12 months of data is staring them in the face the whole time.

It's all a bit of a paradox how the more we fight nature, the harder it hits back. The more we hide from viruses, the weaker we become to the next one
