I also discovered deck shoes are not suitable for walking 3 miles home in, feet are sore as with deck shoes your foot sole is so close to the ground.

Those South American commentators are flipping annoying when elaborately celebrating a goal that's gone against you, just to rub it in.

Someone stole my bike tonight outside morrisons supermarket  I hope the fiend and coward who did that has generated some bad karma for himself.
Sorry to hear that mate, same happened to me a few years ago.

The next bike I got though I attached a tracker to it, you can get ones that even send you a text message if your bike is moved. Pricey enough (about £130) but well worth it if just for piece of mind.

Did you check if there was any CCTV?

I used to use two different locks so that a thief would need two different tools to break both although I imagine you'd need to spend quite a lot to get something that big bolt cutters won't go through.

Tracker which isn't noticeable sounds like a good idea as well

Don't think there was in immediate vicinity, YES 2 locks or even 3 is a good idea. Also learned their is something called a SkunkLock that emits a noxious chemical if someone tries to cut through.

I've just remembered the guy who nicked my bike 30 odd years ago admitted to the theft of my bicycle, from prison. :D Let's hope the same happens to your thief.

My beloved Fiesta XR2 got stolen in Bournemouth in 1991

30 years later, I'd still like to pour laxative into that guy's porridge

Laxatives!! You're too soft LeTiss.

I'm not fussed about the bicycle or video recorder (paid over £600 for it in 1984!), too much time has passed. But if I had anything stolen last week I'd want the culprit stoned to death, or put in front of a firing squad if I'm in a forgiving mood. :D

Croydon mid 90s. Mowed half of my front lawn. Went round the back to empty the grass box. Came back round the front about a minute later. Mower gone. And it wasn't a lightweight electric job, it was an almost brand new petrol one. Unbeleivable in most places but very believable in Croydon.

There was 3 blocks of flats opposite and one day they were swarming with police, but I notice some of the cars kept leaving, then coming back in a hurry again...then I noticed a catering truck, and cameras... They were filming The Bill :) looked realistic though!

Unlucky, hate when that happens. Always on the most important of holidays too!

This can't be your first Easter Derek :D

Also, for someone that goes to the store 5 days per day you oughta know how they flippin' work!

I'm sure my old store, Morrisons, was open at Easter. Christmas Day was the only day they had off, sometimes New Year's Day, but not always. I've also turned up at 7 am not realising it's Sunday!

Doesn't matter though, I've got my beer for the night. Just a shame I have to go to sleep for a couple of hours while the sun's still shining. :(
