Betdaq "new site"

Finally a website done well, 100 times better than the previous one
There was a stewards enquiry. Sounds like the betting opened again when that was announced.adamkirby wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 10:04 amDid anyone trade the 1950 Wolverhampton last night? It was clear from the feed on Betfair and Sporting Life in fact published it was a dead heat but the horses were still trading, Havanah Goldrush was trading at 2.6-3.4 so i stuck a win bet on at 3.35 and got paid out half stakes when betfair eventually settled as a dead heat.
My question is why was the exchange still trading even after the result and could I have lost money? as I was unsure I went low stakes but just wondering for the future

I've not been to Newbury but I've heard 'Tom's Pies' is some of the best food you can get at a racetrack. Enjoy
Good value if you got on early enoughdeestar wrote: ↑Sat Feb 12, 2022 2:32 pmNice shout.MobiusGrey wrote: ↑Sat Feb 12, 2022 10:39 amEldorado AllenRealrocknrolla wrote: ↑Sat Feb 12, 2022 9:50 amOff to Newbury meeting today. Anyone for any fancies?

This graph from Peter might explain itbeermonsterman wrote: ↑Sun Feb 13, 2022 3:46 pmIs it just me or has pre race trading been like finding bird shit in a Cuckoo clock lately ? is it the time of year or are the markets more efficient whats your take on it pre racers ?
I find it fascinating, here's my own bets showing pretty much exactly the same thing. I don't think it's that there's so much less racing, my total staked in Decemebr is about half compared to June, but I'd expect the same ROI.PapaShango wrote: ↑Mon Feb 14, 2022 11:16 am
Think it just shows that there is less racing in the winter months, and more racing and opportunities in the summer.
I used to prefer the winter months as you could take things a bit easier and still do o.k. I don’t like this new winter schedule though. Especially when it’s two day time jumps and one evening A.W.
I much prefer 3 day time cards. Even when they used to stagger it on a Monday and Tuesday and have the A.W starting around 2pm with the jumps starting about midday.
I hate this new schedule. I don’t trade Irish, and they don’t race there everyday anyway. With just two jump meetings I find opportunities hard to come by. Especially with all the bumpers, hunter chases, and uncompetitive races with a 1/8 fav. There are only a handful of races over midweek jumps that even appeal to have a look at, if I decide to pass or can’t find anything in those it feels like I’m sat at my desk twiddling my thumbs doing nothing all afternoon.
Then by the time the A.W starts at night I’ve lost interest, lost money, got bored, or can’t be bothered.
There has barely been a cancellation this winter either, weather has been kind to racing, but the schedule just makes it feel dead. I’d rather when it’s frosty and it gets abandoned so you can have a proper day off without worrying that you’re going to miss something.
Does look to pick up from next week in though. Lots more days with 3 daytime and an A.W, then Cheltenham is in 4 weeks too. Things usually pick up in the run up to the festival.
And April is absolutely mental. Scottish National on first weekend, before English National which comes a week after this year. Craven week comes before Easter and A.W finals days, night racing starts that week too, and the final Saturday of April is 2000 gns day.
So might as well make the most of it being quiet, as it looks to get pretty hectic from here on in.
Missed that post, but had four winners on the day... including the 20/1. Great track!MobiusGrey wrote: ↑Sat Feb 12, 2022 10:39 amEldorado AllenRealrocknrolla wrote: ↑Sat Feb 12, 2022 9:50 amOff to Newbury meeting today. Anyone for any fancies?
