We never had central heating at home until I was in my mid-late teens, as a result I'm perfectly comfortable in 16-18degrees room temps, anything over 20 and I start to get uncomfortableDerek27 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 30, 2022 1:40 pmYou'd be better off living in a warmer climate. I've lived in a flat with drafty windows where I'd set the thermostat to 15ºC. If there was a strong westerly wind I'd drop it down to 13ºC rather than heat the troposphere, but I'd still be able to sit in a tee shirt most of the day. I'd reserve my warm jumper for the evening for a bit of extra comfort.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sat Jul 30, 2022 1:30 pmThankfully we're not experiencing fuel poverty so we're on 26deg 247 365. Being warm is my #1 luxury. But that's a reaction to growing up in a house where my old man had the heating off from April to October even if it dropped to single figures.![]()
Unfortunately though the wife's hates the cold and anything below mid-low 20s she finds uncomfortable so its always a compromise when we're both in the same room
