Has anyone ever encountered this image and if so, how do you get past it?

When Stalin finished his speech, nobody dared to be seen to be the first to stop clapping.

Ranting is all good fun but there are actual Stanford studies etc on how constant complaining rewires the brain for negativity and shrinks it, effectively making people dumber over time

Before someone yells out "I'm knot dumb, your dumb!!" there is just too much science behind this to fully ignore it, even being exposed to too much complaining (via TV etc) peels away neurons in our brain's hippocampus. Yep, the same part of our brain that we need for problem solving :D

I think I'll skip trading today to watch King Charles and Prince William shaking hands with the public, it's unmissable!

Maybe but the seed of doubt has been planted :) I hope you realize now why you couldn't open that jar of jalapenos earlier. Problem solving Derek! You're losing brain cells with every ranting post you make! And so are we by reading them

Tyre inflation kits and no spare fitted, even though there's a well for one. Just fit a spare tyre you twatting cheap skates. Now I'm stuck here, shredded tyre and with no mobile fitters available until at least Tuesday. Grrrr

The least they could do is fit run-flats, I switched to those in case Mrs gets a flat. Can you call a breakdown service?

We had an elderly couple breakdown outside the house last weekend, Green Flag took 8hrs to arrive then couldn't shift it (came with a transit not a lowloader). That's vulnerable old folk. I called the AA for them and they were gone in an hour.

Minute of silence? Since when was a minute less than 30 seconds?
Why not just say "a moment of silence"?

Mid Sept and we've had the heating on for a week, there's a battleship grey sky, and everyone outside has got a coat on. This is such a shitty cold expensive country.

I've no intention of emigrating but i do wonder what destinations there are and what their entry criteria are. And also what my "wealth" would buy. But I like the UK. I haven't explored it all. I love mountains but can't get up 'em anymore. I hate heat. So where would go?

My wife managed to limp it home, so was outside the house. Managed to borrow a jack and wheel brace so then walked 3 miles to my camper storage site, grabbed that and took it to a tyre fitter. PITA on a Sunday morning but at least its done.
