Suella Braverman says she's made a mistake, apologised and should be forgiven. Time will tell Suella. :D

Starmer should know. :)

I've heard Boris the Buffoon might be turning up to COP to undermind Sunak. I don't understand how Downing Street can stop the King from going but Sunak can't stop a backbench Tory MP from going or withdraw the whip. Sunak needs to stop the buffoon in his tracks and get him out of the party, before he tries to get his job back. And this is how he should do it. :D

If the rumours are true then there are about 76 Tory MP’s loyal to Boris. That’s enough to bring the party down when decide too at any point when a government needs to get something through parliament. Sunak will know that, so to some extent he is fcuked if he tries to tell Boris what he should or should not be doing.

Basically, it’s a right fcuk up because of the splits in the Tory party.

Sunak is the right person to fix the economy but he may not get the chance too. If he has to call a general election then the economy could be damaged for good and far worse than Truss managed too. It would take Labour 2 terms at least to rectify and be extremely unpopular with voters as we would be back to the 1970s/1980s from an economic point of view.

Sunak has to keep Boris onside weather he/we or the country likes it.

Utter madness, we need PR asap so something like the last 6 months or 12 years (depending on your point of view) can never happen again.

As a Tory member/voter, never thought I would be ever saying that!!!
Sunak had two sensible options. Either get elected without deals and take full control of the party or don't get elected, let the buffoon or someone else get elected and allow the party to self-destruct. A PM under the command of his cabinet isn't any better.
Nobody in the Tory party can get elected and become PM without backroom deals. There are 4 seperate divisions within the party, each one jostling for power and to get their specific agenda/policies onto the statute books and get individuals into the cabinet and/or hold powerful positions. They have always been there its just these days they are much more vocal privately.

Sunak can only really rely on around 190 of the Tory MP's, the others would probably sell their mothers for a glass of red.

45 days in office

As an ex PM, Liz Truss now gets £115K pa for the rest of her life.
She should get double. If her legacy is as bad as expected she'll need round-the-clock protection for the rest of her life.

Then again, they could just give her a new identity and pay for her plastic surgery.

Matt Hancock among this years participants, before even looking at this years odds I knew he'd have to be the red hot fav or the rank outsider!

He's lost the party whip and says he doesn't expect to serve in government again. It's just a shame they can't suspend his MP's salary while he's away.

Matt Handoncock will be promoting his dyslexia campaign, so it's okay. He's forgiven for all the deaths he caused during his covid cock-up.

Larry says he has already warned Sunak not to get too comfortable, and expressed annoyance at the arrival of dogs!

I'd much rather have a dog in No. 10. A self-centered predator compared to a a being that loves you every time you step through the door, even if you've only gone out to the garage for something.

Yes but the cat doesnt really care who lives in the house, which is handy when the occupants change so often!

The cat doesn't know who lives in the house. Most people in number 10 are workers or visitors and he probably doesn't know Truss actually lived there. I've seen footage of Truss trying to stroke the cat and he ran away. She wasn't even there long enough for him to consider her an acquaintance. :D

WTF is Sky News interviewing the buffoon for his views on Ukraine? He's now an irrelevant backbencher bum who's only in the UK because he thought he could be PM again. Just ignore and forget about him!
