Sell = back. Buy = lay. Just remember buy low, sell high. Understandable confusion as most people see backing as buying a betting slip. Tbh it's not buying or selling its backing and laying, but people sure do like to sound fancy.

Maybe they are, if you've got enough clout you can make deals. It'll be a business to business relationship so the usual regs won't apply.
