Haven't seen market reaction to this

Just heard the news on Sky that "all is not well" in the French camp, but bizarrely, still no reaction in the market with France trading at even money.

In the match odds market, Argentina's price moving a little. (strong market though)

It's now gone out a tick to 2.02 in the winner's market, traders not taking the news too seriously.

Who's gonna take third place in the 2022 WC? The excitement and anticipation are unbearable. :)

Never got the whole third place play off games. I get the impression neither side wants to be there

It seems to mean a lot to the players and the fans, judging by their reactions.

Tends to produce goals when there isn't any real downside. Though it's not a match I've watched, even when England were playing.

I have to agree with Archangel, It might be different for teams like Morocco who went further than expected and feel they have more to prove but for any of the top seeds after missing out on a place in the final I suspect they just want to get on that first plane home the following day rather than sticking extra days for a match that has little meaning - I remember from the way England played in 2018 they didn't want to be there at all after Croatia knocked them out

FWIW, score about right. Watching without the sound whilst having a go at the greyhounds....

Hope it doesn't go to penalties. Imagine the pressure!

Final result fair. The real Xg differed slightly, could be the way they assess headed goals.

:) My own version of Xg based on In-Game statistics. (Called it FoXg for the craic)

If it's your own analysis you should post it before the match, instead of posting afterwards and saying the results are close to expected.

Surely a goal's a goal, whether it's headed or kicked?
